Bale has missed five Real Madrid games, and Wales coach Robert Page said it was a tear in the side, the BBC reported today.
The coach said he was initially afraid Bale would not be available for the November games, but that would not be the case.
“Evaluate the tendon injuries from one to four, and his injury is close to four, and it’s a tendon rupture. We’re in constant contact to see how the situation develops. This meeting is coming too soon for him, “Unfortunately, at first we thought it would happen. The damage also extends to the November meeting, but fortunately it recovers better than we expected.”, he said.
Bale was due to play the 100th game for the Welsh national team in Prague against the Czech Republic on 8 October.
Wales will play Estonia on October 11 in Tallinn.
After four games, Wales are third on the Group E table with seven points, similar to the second Czech Republic, which has one more game. Belgium is first on the table with 16 points from six games.
